Stuart's course was just what I needed to be able to switch in to a career I love. I did have a fair amount of work and life experience before starting the course. I had been a dental nurse after leaving school so I was familiar with running a safe and hygienic environment. I had business experience, I had worked with front line emergencies and also worked as a trauma practitioner, as well as having a master degree in fine arts.

My tattoo business has now grown from strength to strength and Stuart has continued to be available if I have had any questions or concerns.

I will always be grateful to Stuart for giving me a solid platform to continue from.

Like a lot ​ of people in this industry, I started going down the route of an apprenticeship, thinking this was the only way to get into the industry. unfortunately this ended up being a toxic environment and it started to affect my mental health. Thankfully I found Stuart and after going in for a chat, I signed up for his course and decided to leave my apprenticeship. I am so glad I did ! Stuart was supportive and welcoming and made it easy to learn and ask questions. I learned so much on this course. Not just about technique and equipment, but also the day to day running of a tattoo studio. Stuart's knowledge, patience and genuine passion for tattooing were clear in every session. He took the time to guide me through every step, even hovering over my shoulder when I needed some hand holding! I always felt encouraged and supported. Stuart helped me by encouraging me to explore new styles and experiment with colour - something my original apprenticeship mentor would not allow me to do. 

If you are looking for a course I cannot recommend this one enough. Thank you Stuart for being such a good mentor and for helping me continue my journey. I now have my own studio that I work in part time and I absolutely love it. I feel confident that if I need help, I can message Stuart for advice.

I had no tattoo experience beforehand and found Stuart's course on line. 3 years after completing the academy I now own my tattoo studio and work full time tattooing. I am about to embark on my first tattoo convention. The course has changed my life, the teaching and hands on approach to teaching and the studio was amazing, I loved every minute of the course.
